...... I was at PPHD to see if they had a volume control thumbknob (they didn't). Weak excuse to go check out the showroom, i know, but .....

..... This was setting next to the parts counter.

......... the logos on the tank & TP are badges,

....... guages went back to black and the speaker switch has returned

......... anyone coming into a Harley showroom, looking for a touring motorcycle who doesn't want one'a these, doesn't know what they want.

Just purchsed a Vivid Black 2011 FLTRU, pics coming.

Only 1 letdown. The body stripe as shown on the HD website is not really correct in person. It actually fades from gray to a brown color.

The front of the stripe on the shark nose and top of front fender is a strange brown color, that quickly fades to a very dark gray.

Would have liked it to be all gray.

Not a very attractive shade of brown, IMHO.

Heaven will be FOUND when you strattle that "NEW" CVO Roadglide. I posted a video of it in the video section of the forum. I would get rid of my "YELLOW" one for THAT one. I would LOVE to hear some young 'KID" say,"Now thats an Old Mans Bike"! LOL I can hear that bike calling your name all the way here in O-H-I-O! Round on the Ends and HIGH in the Middle.

Thanks for posting those photos. Picked mine up Thursday, and being the same color saved me from taking photos myself. For a big bike, it really handles well. Couldn't use the head set/microphone they include as it woulodn't fit on my half helmet; trading it for a couple with the bow on the back. Sure glad to see them come back with a touring RG.
