OK I have all my items in my wish list on Amazon. I have a couple of questions. I put the 1/8th Air line fittings , I got the plastic Tee and Y fitting. I also got a 1/8NPTX 1/8th airline straight brass fitting for the air pump out to the Tee. I need to pick out my solenoid and a needle valve to control the down to where it is not so fast. Would a brass one be better for the solenoid? If anyone bought one from amazon what one did you get? It would be nice if I could find one with an adjustable flow outlet.
Mark.

of course I get leakers... should have expected it. 1 Gabriel leaks at the top, time for amazon return.
For those using gabes, are you using the plastic fittings @ the shocks?

Was about to ask the same question but I have the Monroe's. I assume a 1/8" tubing will fit fine with the plastic fittings that hold it in place on the shock.

Getting my outer fairing replacement and while open want to work up all the air ride

Leak testing my second set from amazon... before anything else.
100 psi in a bucket of water...

I'm going to use the plastic fittings that are included, then I'll adapt to 1/4" tube for the rest.

When I test fit these maybe a couple months ago, I noticed that my detachable sissy bar backrest would not fit onto the shock portion. what are you guys using as spacers to get it to work easily?

Oh, I have replaced with the energy bushings.

also, I have the Viair air pump that has that massive air filter. anyone running without it or found something smaller to minimize it's footprint. I'm installing in the fairing btw.

I put a washer behind shock, keeps the rubber from getting squished so the backrest will fit

Thanks. Perfect. I'll get those tonight and get ready for the weekend. Gonna be a long working weekend.

On top of adding this air ride, I'm also replacing outer fairing (just good timing), air cleaner, fuel programmer, fluid change and a damn good wash.

Its gonna kill me if I can't finish on Saturday because Sunday here is supposed to be freaking nice.

Thanks for the info.

Started my Gabriel install today.
Mounted the pump on the right ( no ABS)... trimmed the plastic tray marked "sidecar tip sensor" and pump fits in vertically.

Tomorrow its electrical and under the fairing stuff left.

finished the air ride mod about 4 hours ago. It wasn't that hard just tedious. pressure is set to 60 unladen & 80 laden.

Used the CVO trunk switch with no relay.

Here are a few picture of key parts and where I put them.

Switch

Mounted pump near stereo.

I drilled two holes

For those with ABS moutned solenoid to it. HD 3M tape and a zip tie. not going anywhere

and I got a black face gauge on purpose and I call it "The Evil Eye"

This thread was invaluable so I just want to add a little bit more. Yeah I know, my gauge bezel is fading. Need to paint it!

Paul, you know you could get that gauge in a whit face to match the rest of your gauges.. You did a good job. I have my parts installed in similar locations.
