Has anyone done the DIY air ride system with the corvette shocks. I am seeing a lot of other forums talking about this and getting it done for around $250. Any input from anyone.

Yeah mine dont either which is definitely a good thing in case there's an issue on the road you'd still be abled to ride the bike. I'm curious about the lowering blocks because when it's fully aired up I feel like I'm in a 82 camaro that someone jacked the ass end up with the air shocks.

Long thread yes but you'll find all the info (do's and donts) you'll need to do this mod. If yours is already lowered in the front I would say yes you should get a shorter kick stand because my 09 with stock height front end stands almost straight up when completely aired down with the stock kick stand.

So when I did my setup I ended up having to bash in the side of my pipes because the lower shock mounting bolt would hit them. It wasnt a big deal as they were gutted stock pipes with thunder city baffles however Ive come into some money and would like to replace all pipes...heads to slip ons and I cant dare think about bashing/denting side of new pipes in. Anyone have any suggestions? limiting straps? Would that stop the shocks from performing? With the wife and I on I go to 120-125psi.

Hey Rad, I already bought the parts, they'll be in by this weekend. I've already got a plan on mounting the compressor on the saddle bag rail. If you notice, it's a squared off U-channel now so I'll be making a flat mounting bracket to place the compressor there.
Now my decisions are to make it remote and/or automatic ( by using a set pressure range switch I have ) and where to buy and mount a hard wired toggle switch ( possibly the Arnott switch )
Really looking forward to this mod, with Janine on back, it really scrapes just leaning into a turn. Not that she's a big girl, but it even scrapes with me taking corners like I used to on my '08!
I'll make a couple more mounting plates and give you one
