I have been running the Monroe shocks for a little over a year. Once you get the air pressure adjusted to your weight it rides as good as anything out there. I have a friend who spent the $1000 plus on Arnott's system and mine rides better.
What dump valve are you using. I am herring some are having problems with the grainger one. I don't mind spending a little bit more more a better part. Do you have a part # of yours if you are running a different one. Thanks.

Started buying the pieces myself. Only have the solenoid.

any update on the picture of the pump mounted near the saddlebag?

Got all my parts and did the install before laughlin ... when I get home I'll shoot some pics of the switch location and my istall. I didn't like it much at first , the shocks were airing up way slow, so I loosened up the fittings going into the shocks and found out I had the lines pushed in too far ... FYI about 3/16" past your O-rings is all you need .... just put 600 miles on the new system on the river run and I LOVE THE RIDE !!!

this is just my thoughts on the MOD ....

I'd say it's a more easily adjustable ride vs. stock. I used to set my oem shocks at about 40 and leave em' alone always used a friends air pump cuz I wasn't willing to buy one knowing I wouldn't keep OEM's. That being said when we ride 2 up the ride was nice but a harsh hit still rattled my teeth and got me smacked in the helmet by the wife.

The air ride gives me the ability to air up on the harsher roads and in the deep twisties ..(I noticed softer air makes you bounce in a sharp curve at speed) and out on the freeway I can air down a little and enjoy the smooth ride.

I also got a thanks from my wife who is only 5'3" cuz I can slam it in the parking lot and she steps off easy.

Can I say its better than stock ... honestly No but it's a cheap way to get a lot of adjustment on the fly. I'm into this mod $300 bucks because I made some upgrades... If I were in the market I'd probably go with progressive 944's lot's of guys in here love em'

as far as looks i love that bagger dragger looks when she's parked and aired down, When I finally get the money to put on stretched bags and fender it'll really complete the looks.

sorry for beating around the bush... I do like the MOD the $ involved and the results ... I'd recommend this to any rider on a budget. aka PUB

I would think riding a cinder block with a axle drilled through it rides better than the FLTRX suspension. So this has got to be better. I can't wait to get mine going.

I have a couple of friends that have it and says it is a lot better than stock. Plus you have the ability to adjust on the fly.

I am waiting for a couple more things to come in and hopefully I will start mine next weekend.

All that have done this already, you using a gauge and if so what kind. I am thinking about running without.

I had a gauge but couldn't find a cool place to mount it so I ditched it. Don't really need it. I wait till shocks fully extended and count 3 seconds for solo and 6 seconds for two up. Soon maybe 7 seconds if this girl keeps eating  works fine
