Trying out the shocks while I wait to remove fairing is all. I have the parts on order and the shocks in hand with the energy bushings. I plan on using a three position switch hidden under the seat on the right side. weather is too nice right now to tear into it. Rain will happen soon enough.

Shoot jayray you could even use the factory air lines and schrader valve but it kinda defeats the mod .... I'm wondering if i put a chrome air tank somewhere then i could get the sucker lookin like it has switches

whataya think REF ?!?!? with some thump in the tour pack :D oooohhhh yyaaahhh!!!!
That's what I am talking about :)

Didn't mean to be cocky jay .. But I think that's just what you should do , use oem air lines and bolt those muthas in you'll like em

On the Energy bushings, do I need to purchase 4 sets? That's what I'm getting.

+1 with tdkart ... amazon has the best prices around... I tried going a different route and spent more money than I needed to.

on amazon type in the search MA785 air shocks

for those that shop grainger stay away from their 12v thomas air compressor I have it and though it works
1 it's slow as h3ll with the small piston
2 no air check valve

I'll be get'n the viair model when I get the chance :(

For the switch I am going to use the CVO tour pack switch and use it in one of the dummy holes on the dash.

Problem is they are back ordered. Been waiting for two weeks now. And that's the only thing I am waiting for.

If anyone uses his switch I recommend using a relay so the switch doesn't burn up.

Here is the part number. 71764-07

It's a dual position momentary switch......why would it burn up

Been running mine for a while with zero issues today

I read that others having problems because of the amperage of the switch was to low. So they ran a relay to solve that problem.

Better safe than sorry. A relay is cheap at radio shack.

I'm thinking about doing this, looking for a smoother ride, lower the bike at the same time, will this ride as smooth as 940s? It's cheaper and like the idea of being about to lower the bike to back it up. I'm only 155 lbs and these factory shocks bounce me all over the place. Going to little Sturgis gotta get bike ready.
