Stupid question...
Will leaving my bike up on the jack for the winter cause any problems?
Seems like I would have alittle more room in the garage if I did.

No, I actually think its better for it. If you've got a spindle, and room,put it up on that! It LOOKS really cool when people come over and ya dim the lights, turn the spindle on, and high-lite it w/different color spots as its spinning.

Agreed, not a problem. Due to lack of floor space, I left my 03 on a Sears Craftsman jack for 5 years (except when I was riding it, of course).

Never had any issues...

lift problem

Only problem I had was with the jack. The hydraulic pressure bled off but settled in on the 'safety lock' thingy...no problem until spring when I went to jack it up and the seals had dried out and it wouldn't build up pressure to get it up and off the lock...scrapped that junk lift!

Ditto, just make sure to set it on the mechanical holds, and not leave it on the hydraulic jack, or you'll have problems, even with the seals in the best jacks.
