Beautiful RK. BMW has a face only a mother could love. LOL! They sure like the asymmetric look for some reason.

The only time I miss more power is when I am stuck behind someone in the curves and they accelerate hard in the straights so I can’t pass.

I was going to lose my license or my life on the Concours 1400.

It is ugly, most people ask if it's wrecked and I took the plastics off! I fell in love with the BMW once I saw it. I'm 6'7" and it's like a regular sport bike just 30% bigger. It will break the back tire loose before wheelies.

Another fan of the RK here, have one myself. I always liked the 100th anniversary colors. The Beemer looks unfinished. Never noticed that model before. I'll be riding thru your neck of the woods on Friday on my way to OC for the weekend.

I see that BMW offered the K1200 in a K1200S, K1200RS, K1200GT, and K1200LT. I think I like the K1200S the best from a looks standpoint.

When I was looking at R1200Rs I liked the idea that it could go from stripped down roadster to sport touring with factory accessories. When I built out a new one with all the accessories I wanted it became cost prohibitive. Buying the RS or RT is a better value. Scrapped the whole idea when it became apparent that I would have to go to major Cities if I needed any warranty work.

Yeah, most folks that like them want something different. It's funny, a buddy of mine has an all black K1200S and we can be pumping gas side by side and every time someone stops it's to ask it's about the R.
