Since the state is a little on the large size, maybe break it into a few areas? South, West and Central? Need an East?

Start with this area...sing out what city your home base is, mines Euless

So when are we going to put a Northern Texas ride together gents?

Prosper TX Here

I think we wait for 100F+, then about 4P go for a ride >:)
It'll be the opposite of the polar bear stuff!

Other than some trips (FL and SWeek) no real plans here.
The other day went to Cool, TX for breakfast. Left at 7A back by 10A (before it broke 90).
Probably an early ride would be the best or a run to AR, or?

Go a little farther NE to Mena, AR.

I've been several times, you can take time and make it an all day ride or I've gone as quick as about 5 hours. Biggest factor is temps, when hot I don't make as good of time, due to water breaks.

Just a little NW of Fort Worth, but a Broken Bow native!
NW of Ft. Worth is where most of my short rides go. Maybe we'll run into each other sometime

I wouldn't rule out East Texas. Lots of rural highways and 75 mph speed limits. Roads were excellent with lots of places to stop. Going back as soon as possible. From my house to Nacogdoches and back was 360 miles.
