After emailing them a couple of times, they finally added pics of the road glide Wave shields. There is only one angle, and to me that sucks. I want to see a side profile to see the actual curve of the shield. So I am emailing them again, to see if they have pics of a side profile they can just send me.
Here is the link

And here are the pics,.. only 3 sizes and the tint you see, is the tint you get on that shield,.. no dark tall ones in other words

Height: 06.25 in. (15.9cm)

Height: 10.50 in. (26.7cm) (this is what the specs say,.,.. but they are wrong. Its the same height as the tall?)

Height: 10.50 in. (26.7cm)

Nothing there really strikes me as new an innovative,.. and not even really cool looking. The only plus side, is national is well known for how strong their shields are. After seeing these, I will probably still go with the Cee Baileys.

Hey Chainsaw,
After reading your post I got busy looking at the April 2010 issue of American Bagger Magazine. On page 43 National has an ad. It shows a little bit better side view of the windscreens. It also makes it a little more clear as to the sizes available. There are also some pretty cool lookinf RGs in this issue!

Hope this helps,

Smith

Yeah, I bought a couple of copies at our local Kroger store. I liked the format but could never figure out when that store was going to have them, so I just subscribed. My wife is really thrilled with me!!! :( I figure that is cheaper than some of the accessories I bought over the winter. I am not sure she agrees with any of it. Oh, she agreed with the backrest for the TP though. Imagine that. :)

Got this reply from National Cycle

Sorry but I do not have any side view shots YET. We will have those in about 3 days. Sorry about the delay here but we will have those side views in a couple days.
Thanks

I think the yaffe 10" would clear any shield you put on, unless you have arms like a gorilla and the bars go straight up off the tree instead of tilting back towards you. By the way, I have gorilla arms, so no offense to anyone built like me. Thats the problem I have with these bars I had made,.. it only has 5" of pullback with 9" of rise. Stock RG bars have 9.5" of pullback. The new ones will be 15" of rise, but I will be able to put them back at an angle (to clear the 17" cee baileys I just bought off a guy on HD forums... couldn't hold out any longer)

Appreciate the info,... I've spent ALOT of money with Yaffe here lately, well at least alot to me... and everytime I talk to him I forget to ask certain questions about other things. Like the Monkey Bars, and if they would fit with my xtr tall windsheild on my bike,... I will spend some more money if they do. LOL! Thanks again ! Oh FYI...Ihave Bird Legs,... Gorilla Arms,... and a Truckers Gut! LOL!

I just got my Cee Bailey 16" and like it so far. I am still not sure of the total amount of wind protections since both times I have been out there has been a wind blowing. I just bought some soft lowers to try and see how much that helps. If they do then I will spring for some vented lowers at some point.

just pulled the pin on the tall wave. ordered from phatperformance.com with free shipping - National Cycle Wave Windshield - 10.5" Clear $118.95. They have the other sizes at the same kind of discount. I have the HD windsplitter on right now and I feel like a bobblehead on the highway at any thing above 50.

I also ordered the 10.5" Wave from Phatperformance. I'm currently running the "Vstream Tall" - it works great, but might be too tall for my daily commute. However, I was so impressed with the quality of the National Cycle stuff, I figured I'd give the Wave a try.

Here's the Vstream:

Cool, be sure to post us some pics when you guys get them installed. National Cycle has yet to send me, or update their site with side view pictures.
