Hello all,

i'm trying to narrow down what could be causing my wobble at around 90 MPH. I have a 23" front wheel with a HHI bolt on rake kit, mono tube front shocks and progressive 944 shocks in the rear set a 2 (if memory serves me correct). I also have a progressive and alloy art rear stabilizer (both installed). I figured my set up was good after all that. Went out last night and she was all over the road. Few things I was wondering:

1 could my suspension be to soft
2 Does my razor tour pack cause the ass end to sway
3 air pressure in the tires ( i have a needle gauge on my pump and I just let it go till it hits the green lands somewhere near 36) how much air is good normally?
4 Does having Apes increase the wobble
5 do stretched bags play apart by catching air
6 ride height (is lower better or vice versa)
7 Is there a way to flat out fix the wobble or is it something i'm going to have to live with

thanks in advance for your help

Does it do it at 80 ? Might be as simple as a tire balance issue.

Tire pressure tire pressure tire pressure. Run at the listed max PIS on the side of the tire. I assume Avon front? What is on the rear?

I'd be questioning the bolt on rake kit then. It may take some process of elimination to figure out this problem with all your mods.

Hows your fallaway ?

I think Big Gary is on to something, the neck bearing is critical to the ride on HD bikes, I've seen many problems (accidents) from improper adjustment to these bearings. Check the manual for details but all that might go out the window with your rake kit, so make sure to contact the manufacturer with this problem.

Neck Bearings

If the neck bearings are too loose, the apes will cause the wobble also.
