I bought the Screamin' Eagle Chisel Extreme Billet AC off of a forum member and then sold the Heavy Breather from my 2012 FLTRXSE for more than I paid for the replacement. You should be able to sell your HB and all the parts for enough to pay for another type or at least most of the cost. The HB and all the parts add up to close to $600 if purchased new.

Here are some pics but like stated above, any stage one AC will perform just as well. I am like you and not a fan of the HB with lowers.
