Has anyone installed one on a 14-15 model? I have a 12 and i want to install the newer style on my bike. I currently have a big sucker on my bike. I need to know if i can just buy the newer style replacement filter and newer cover and use on my existing backing plate.

I was wanting to see if anyone has the parts list on the instructions.

Thanks

A quick search of HDs website shows the aftermarket intake kits work across the year differences. The stage 1 kits are different though because of the cover styles. After owning both the Arlen Ness kit and the factory HD kits, I prefer the HD kits. You should be just fine to do what you are asking though.

I have a Ness Big Sucker on my 2015. No issues. No leaks or blow by.

I have a big sucker on my 99. With having the MM injection it's the only option other than stock that I have found. My bike had a Hyper charger on it when I purchased it and it had to go.

It's been a fine part with one exception. The studs that are provided that screw into the throttle body that you then attach the threaded bushing to (for lack of better terms) are 1/4"x 1" studs BUT have a hex wrench hole in them for an 1/8" hex wrench effectively making them 1/8" studs in half of their length.

They lasted about 3000 miles and while on the return home on a 4hr trip my Air filter, the outer plate and the nice decorative outer cover fell down and it rested on my ankle while my foot was on the floorboard. Had I had highway pegs and been using them it likely would've hit the road and been gone. I was able to reach down and grab it and put it in my lap while cruising 75 MPH down the highway at night. I pulled into a gas station and threw it in the right bag and rode the last 45 minutes home sans air filter.

All the broken studs came right out. each one broke cleanly at the end of the hollow wrench hole. I went to NAPA and bought regular 1/4"-20-1" carb studs.
