2023 CVO Road Glide Limited 120th Anniversary Motorcycle | Harley-Davidson USA
I love the new CVO colors and the new anni badge is a lot better than new '23 badge

I still say however the MoCo missed their chance by making them 120 cubes off the floor specifically only to anni CVOs

Man, i’ve been going back and forth looking at pics of the anniversary and CVO bikes off and on all day, and I keep coming to the same conclusion that they are just not attractive bikes whatsoever…. Look like something from 1986 IMO……

$52,000! Plus all the fees etc. Who has the money to drop that much on a bike. They are gonna price themselves out of reach of their cliental. So far not really digging the new CVO amd I am a red guy! Every vehicle I own is red.

If they only make 1500 of them....they can move that no problem......each shop has "that guy" that is good for one....and so on and so on

At that price, it's nothing more than a novelty bike. In 2-3 years, you'll start seeing these for sale with 40 miles on them once the original owners get bored and want to move on to something else for a new garage decoration. Sad thing is, they'll convince themselves that since it's an anniversary model, it's a collector's item and ask for more than what it costs new

Man these prices are getting out of control on these bikes or I’m just getting old!! There will be plenty of people dropping the 70k for one which is crazy. I won’t even spend that on a new truck.

Based on what they rolled out for 2023, even if I were inclined to spend $65k on a fucking motorcycle (sounds absolutely crazy, right) I’d just pick up a low mileage ‘21 or ‘22 Limited and build it out myself EXACTLY the way I wanted it. And if fancy paint is also your thing, even spending $5K on that, you’ll still come out many miles and smiles ahead, and save $40K, especially if you do your own wrenching…..

The more I look at it. The color does not seem bad. It is the way they paneled the bike. If that makes sense.

It reminds me of when they just cut out lace and panled it on the car or bike ,spray and peel. It was not really part of the paint job just a stick on.

I did not like the Black hills gold and Quartz black in 2017 . The first 3 times I saw it. then i looked again. Rolled it outside. Took it home.

Count me in @smitty901 's camp on the paneled paint. I specifically can't abide panels on a hot rod bike....reminds me of a wood-side station wagon from the '60s, lol. But I'm being a little harsh. I will bet that...if I ever see the RGL CVO anniversary in a showroom I'll like it. The color of the bike is good. Gold trim not my personal thing, but absolutely works with the paint here. No bike ever looks as good on a phone or laptop screen as it does when seeing the real thing. I think 1500 buyers will be happy as can be and in the final analysis....what else matters?

And I really don't care what H-D charges for a CVO or Anniversary bike. They aren't something I'd ever buy.

You are the exception to the rule when it comes to CVOs and mileage. I’ll bet 95% of CVO owners have the just to say they have them. And then there’s guys like you and OBB that want all that and ride the piss out of them.

I am glad to see H-D did not upgrade technology nor engine....that would make me consider trading my 2022 CVO, maybe next year

There is a love hate relationship I see with CVOs - the CVO owners love them, the non-CVO owners find anything they can to justify why CVO is not good enough for them..... I am on the former....since I have had mine, the only upgrade I needed todo was on the wind shield, nothing else...just perfect for me, while before on my special or limited...I was always chasing something...

With absolute respect....you're painting with a very broad brush here. I believe a solid number of people do give their legitimate personal reasons for not owning a CVO, versus "find anything they can" which conveys unreasonable negativity. As for "is not good enough", is that a judgment call, or have you actually witnessed people saying a CVO "is not good enough for them"?

I don't see this as a black or white thing. Certainly CVO owners (hopefully) love their bikes to death. And while certainly some non CVO owners may have a decidedly negative view of them, I think a solid majority of non CVO owners don't own one because a different bike simply holds more appeal for them. Desirability is definitely a personal thing, and doesn't need justified...only explained sometimes.

^ I agree with Kev's viewpoint here. CVO's just aren't for everyone as some people would prefer to have their bike built they exact way they vision, versus a catalogue order. Some people want to retain resale value, others - like myself - keep their bikes for many years and just keep tweaking it however we wish; whereas the stigma of a CVO seems to fall on 'don't change anything or it will lose its value' - like 'only adding a windscreen' for example. F that. Paint and powdercoat can get you anything you want nowadays.

Exactly Kevin.
I almost traded my 19’in on the 21 Blue Steel. But there’s too much I’d have to do to it. Even the salesman asked why the F would I do that. No mistake I can afford one. But with the amount of work I do to mine. The CVO to me in the end don’t compare to mine IMO. And that’s not a shot at the CVO. And that’s my personal preference.
