2023 CVO Road Glide Limited 120th Anniversary Motorcycle | Harley-Davidson USA
I love the new CVO colors and the new anni badge is a lot better than new '23 badge

I still say however the MoCo missed their chance by making them 120 cubes off the floor specifically only to anni CVOs

I got lucky then or my credit is just that good. Mine is 2.5%
2.5 is a win Cadillac new is 3.99 for 60 a 2023 palisades is 6.9 !
I have a bike loan that is 1.85 currently but I have no interest in looking.
To me this looks like the 08 mortgage melt down all over

$850 delivery charge is ridiculous to begin with, and why are they adding a $1,200. surcharge, why wouldn't whatever that money is for just be part of the MSRP? Seems like just a 'game' to keep the advertised MSRP lower.
I’ve noticed that these ‘delivery fees’ are getting higher. I would say doubled over the past 3 years. You are right, though, it keeps the ‘MSRP’ (yes, in quotes!) lower. Personally, I ignore the MSRP and add in all the ‘fees’ and that is the true MSRP - these are manufacturer fees, after all.

When it now costs me $1000.00 to fuel up my truck when it was $400. You can expect to see delivery charges rise. As they should. And really, it's only been 2 and I'm sure ya know when that started.

Also the dealer gets reimbursed for that same set up fee they are charging you. They're double dipping.

That's what someone there told you or did you see the paperwork?

Sorry if I sound suspicious but that's just a little hard to believe.

... and then the dealer is likely to hit it with a surcharge if the model or paint is sought after. After 12 years or so of shrinking sales, clearly they needed to make some changes, but it seems that they've overdone it with the combination of de-contenting and finding every avenue they can to raise the bottom line price/profit. Forcing long term family dealerships to close or sell to one of the large multi-location corporate ownerships. Cut backs in production to force customers to pay more for their products, etc. I used to admire Harley Davidson as a company, but what used to be exceptionalism has turned to overpriced products, poor customer service, total disregard for the mom and pop dealers that grew HD's business and reputation for many years, and it all comes down to piss poor upper management decisions.

Hit the nail on the head Uncle Fuzzy
Ya we did good, Her car is 4.125% So no matter what. We are keeping them until interest rates drop. She's a Hospice Nurse and We keep her in a newer car when she's doing the traveling thing. She has 40k on hers now when it hits 80 we will trade it.
Hospice people are amazing the one that took care of my uncle was sent from above.Giveher a hug for caring for those who really need care🙏🏻

It's easy to say this not being a billionaire but if I were, I still don't believe I would pay that out of principle. In general, it's frustrating hearing about people who will. Now in HD's mind they are like, "Welp, we know now people will pay it. Time to jack up the price of non-anniversary CVO's a little more".

In general, it's a nice bike. But that price without a 131, Ohlins suspension, and so on............I don't get it. Even paying $41k for my CVO felt a little embarrassing.

You rode the absolute fuck out of yours and barely changed a thing. I don't believe you bought it just to say you have a CVO. We all know that guy. I know 2 of them. lol

I agree with your comments Fuzzy however it is Harley Davidson” corporate.”The forum comments about the 120 anniversary should have had a 120 motor. That would have been marketing genius! It was a missed opportunity.
The end of the 107, it’s still here.
The 131 stock in CVOs May happen some day but they will do it like methadone for a junkie,a little in low doses to keep you wait in the rain for more.120, 121,123,… the CVOs for 70k will end up on a boat to Dubai and be a feature article in “ The Rob Report”
Forward thinkers on this forum have long warned HD is going to be a high end boutique brand. That day is here.
… the CVOs for 70k will end up on a boat to Dubai
If a dealer is found to allow a Straw Purchase go through on a CVO they risk losing the Franchise. My buddy has been turning away cash offers in CVOs for years he says. The latest was a woman offering 10k over MSRP. That was last year. I haven’t heard of any this year. He said there’s a few Red Flags the look for in the calls.

I am not referring to cash transactions on new purchases just outright purchases. The cash component that has been done for ever is the custom market.Paint,up grades, big builds, done with cash. That is something else.If a msrp 50k vehicle is sold to some one for 70 thats fine.
I was window-shopping 22 corvettes last year.
msrp 95k. A dealer called me with the exact car.out the door 135k.
As mentioned above when prices are artificially jacked due to demand it screws with the lesser vehicles pushing their prices up as well Effecting all of us.
