Hello all! Will be getting a really sweet 2009 Vivid Black RG with some nice mods and sadly giving up my wonderful 2003 RK.

Just wanted to say hi and will be posting pics and details on my new "shark" as soon as I pick her up from Georgia.

Will be wanting to add a tour pak, so any ideas, leads, etc. would be much appreciated.

Thanks!!:)

Welcome, I think you will find this forum to be very helpful. There is a warning, so many things done to members bikes, hard to decide what is next.

Hey, John (and everyone else), thanks for the warm welcome. Any leads on moving the RK would be appreciated, so that the RG deal can be finalized.

I'm in Fernandina Beach, FL, just north of Jacksonville. I ride several other bikes as well, but the RG will be my second Harley and will have "big shoes" to fill.

One question for all of you; if I don't get a Tour Pak, what other "quick detach" solutions are out there for a combo luggage backrest? I do plan on doing more long distance riding with the RG, so capacity and ease of use are a big plus.

Thanks again, see you all out there!
