New member here in eastern Ky. I got my 2010 TRX on 9-12-09. It's Black Denim, which was hard as hell to find late last summer. Just got the 10k service last week. Should have my 12k in 12 mos. goal easy. Mods to date:
1. powerlet outlet for my electrics
2. 6.5" speakers
3. Biketronics amp (it stopped working before I had 700 miles use) need to take it off
4. H-D Sundowner seat and grab rail. I had a 09 FLTR seat but this is much better
5. 4 point dock and passenger back rest
6. H-D Nightstick
7. Stage 1 intake (H-D)
8. PC-V
9. Shellie's Lowers

I put the amp on last month just before a trip to Florida. The amp went out before I got to Florida. The exhaust gave me 1st and 2d degree burns on my right calf, through an Aerostitch riding suit on that same trip.
I have ordered a Jackpot header which I hope reduces the heat enough so that I don't have to wrap my right calf before a ride. I haven't gotten a chance to pull the fairing and remove the amp, so I'm without tunes for while. I also replaced the stock windscreen with a 10" one, but went back to stock. I like the wind more. Finally, I had to replace the crash bars last fall after I hit a dog in the road and bent them badly. Forgot, added the keyless gas door latch and Dark #1 derby and timer covers. That's about it so far.

O-HI-O! Round on the Ends and HI in the Middle. Sounds good x-cept for the Amp not workn. Biketronics does have X-CELLENT customer support, they will make everything rite. I'm bout 30 minute N. of Cincy,... you close? I was at Newport Bike Rally couple weeks ago, and plan on going to the Easyrider Rodeo in Chillicothe at the end of August. Ya ever been to either? Good forum here. Lots and lots of info, very nice people.

I'm in Pikeville, the eastern most county in Ky, and about 3 hours from Cincy. Never been to either event, though I'm very familiar with the easyriders rodeo, and the legend of chilicothe. My usual ride into Ohio is for VMD, thoughI've missed the last 2 years.

Welcome...we want PICS! ..and did the dog survive?
Dog was on opposite side of the road as I entered a left turn on a narrow 2-lane. Just before I hit the apex, he darted across the road. He cleared my front tire, but the right side crash bar got him. He went rolling into the dirt as I watched him in my mirror. My friend behind me on his Buell said he got up and ran on over the hill. The bar was bent back almost to the floorboard.

I was fine. Bike shuddered for a second, but never lost track. I was going 30-40mph. My friend said it was pretty scary from his point of view. When we stopped just down the road I just really, really pissed off. I doubt the dog made it through the night, but we'll never know. There was not a place to stop and check on the dog, besides it had run off and would have been impossible to find.
