After wanting a Road Glide for a while I the jump from a softail to a new Road Glide Special. Only 2 weeks and 600 miles into the bike, although its my first touring bike and have nothing to compare it to touring wise. I have to say I luv this bike. Its a Cadillac to me, Harley has seem to have done a pretty good job with these Rushmore bikes. I've already added S&S Power Tune Headers, V&H Hi-Output slip-ons, SE Chisel Extreme Billet A/C, SE Pro Super Tuner. Plus a few odds & ends. Bike runs really well although I've yet to have it dyno tuned, that will take place as soon as I get it broke in well. Also plan on up-grading the audio system and windshield. After that I believe it will be set and good to go for a while.
