Target fuel table from PV calibration is achieved in real time
Retains OEM closed loop, adaptive fuel control strategy
Learns and uses VE table corrections as you ride
Target Tune enhanced Auto Tune app on PV device

Dynojet & Fuel Moto will post the complete user guide next week on our websites, the image below illustrates how Target Tune plugs in. On the calibration side the user is required to email their current map (or request a new map) from Dynojet or Fuel Moto that is Target Tune compatible as the map is significantly difference in regard to closed loop. Note the Power Vision unit does not need to remain on the bike for closed loop operation.

I'm diffenently interested in this more. I currently have the PC V with auto tune and I'm not really impressed with the auto tune. I've been running it for a year and I'm getting a ton of pinging from 3rd gear on up from the 2500 and up RPM range when the bike is hot. I'm assuming it's running lean.

I'm curious to know how this differs from the auto tune.

Not sure if I'm understanding the description on the website correctly. Do you have to have a power vision tuner in order to use this?

That makes it a bit of an expensive proposition then. About $800.

You could look at that way but look what a good tuner and a dyno tune can cost. I constantly make changes on my bike namely my engine I like the fact I can tune my bike anytime that I feel I need it to be done. I always felt the the auto tune with the widebands did a good job. But this target tune you can still do an auto tune pro and then it allows your ecm to read in a wideband mode. I am floored at how my bike is running.

I guess you have a point there. There was a power vision tuner on HD forums for sale for 100 bucks, but it was snapped up. Maybe I'll try and shop around

Be aware that Power Vision Tuners are "married" to the ECM of the first bike they are used on. You can buy an additional license for $199 for another personal bike, or if you buy a used Power Vision.

So wait, I have to pay more money to keep using a piece of equipment I purchased on another bike when I trade mine in?

this is sounding like a big commitment, moneywise. It looks like it's not just the bike that's married to the tuner. It's also having a three-way with my wallet.

Without a tuner being "married" to the vehicle, there would be nothing to keep you from tuning your bike, and then tuning all of your buddy's bikes all with the same tuner. All the motorcycle tuners that flash the ECM do this as far as I know.

In the automotive world, probably the most popular tuner is the DiabloSport. It is married to the ECM as long as you use it on that vehicle. You can move it to another vehicle as many times as you want, but in order to do that you must first reinstall the original factory tune in the first vehicle, then you can move to the next. So you can only have one vehicle tuned at any one time.

My Target Tune arrived this week, it's installed, and I will get out and do some riding and tuning with it today.
So far it's typical good Dynojet quality and easy to install. I'll be back later in the weekend with my tuning impressions.
