Hey form folks. Purchased a wide glide in May after trading in my Honda shadow that I turned into a pretty sweet ride. That didn't last long, just got myself a 2016 road glide special and like McDonalds I'm lovin it! I test drove a street glide but I felt cramped, bummer cause I thought that would be the bike. That was until I got my road glide, man is that a comfy ride.
I do have a question, anyone here 6'4"? If so, what size/brand windshield do you have? I personally don't want to get one that is huge, just enough to have the wind miss my face.
Thanks in advance to your replies.

Howdy from Texas. I run the Windvest 12". They are in Cali in the Morgan Hill area south of San Jose. If you are close, drop in for a test ride with one of their shields. They will put it on, change it to another size etc. until you find one you like.

Mahalo for the suggestions guys. Smarty, I will def look into the windvest. Z-shark, the madstad is now on my radar.
I chose the black Quartz Bobrg, same as I had on my wide glide, except no ghost flames.Too bad they didn't take that theme over to the road glide cause that isa nice looking bike. All in all I'm pleased with the color, I'll figure out how to post pics on here later this week.

Here you go so you don't have to search for the video. Really good views especially how to get the switch on the speedo switch on top the bar.

Welcome from So Cal as well - you're going to love the ride!

If you haven't already, check out Freedom Shields, I'm very happy with mine, no buffeting, cuts wind and noise down for all day riding. Check them out, give them your height and inseam and and they'll recommend a shield height for you - they're really great to work with. And you can return the shield for a different size if you're not happy, as long you leave the plastic film on during your test ride.

Welcome from SoCal as well and welcome to the site. Lot a good information on here. I have the Klock Werks 14" sport windshield on my 15 CVO RGU and it is great. The wind doesn't feel turbulent in my face and the wife doesn't complain about buffeting and I can hear the stereo at 80.
