I don't know the colors off hand but you should have power to a wire with the key on when the pump is supposed to be priming then it should turn of after about 5 sec. It should have constant power while cranking and running. If you have power but no pump then you have a bad pump. What year is the bike

If you don't have spark at the spark plug side, check at the coil side too to make sure the plug wires are good. Then I'd check to see if you have power at the coil harness. Now its the process of elimination, coil, regulator and crank sensor. For shiznits and giggles swap the ECM back in and make sure it's not the tuner. Also check the relays. I had a buddy that didn't ride his bike for several weeks because he that there was something majorly expensive wrong with his bike and he didn't have the money to get it fixed. Come to find out a simple $6 relay was giving false readings when testing

I just texted my buddy about it and he said he was getting no spark and no injector pulse. He said he found the "system relay" was giving the false readings when he tested it. He told me that he went to an auto parts store and replaced it for under $10. EDIT he just said he got it from a local HD dealer for under $10. Go figure

It's always the way it is, something so simple gets overlooked. Glad you got it going again

Well I tossed it on my lift started pulling fuses didn't find any blown but apparently I found a fuse not making contact. All good bike running again.

I had a fuse contact issue on my 08 that affected my brake lights. It seems that the contact tabs in the fuse box can fatigue over time and lose contact with the fuse prongs.
It was a simple fix I just had to bend the contact in the fuse box a little and the connection was restored. The hard part was finding the problem because it is easy to overlook this condition.

Fuses

Right or wrong I had some electrical problems on my small bike, so I took each fuse one by one and cleaned and coated them with dielectric grease. No problems since.

Dielectric grease is a good thing especially since our bikes electronics are exposed more so to the elements than our cages

Got it on the lift now in the process of cleaning and a dab of grease

I had to clean all of mine because my ThunderMax was giving me problems, 2 hours, contact cleaner, 40 Qtips, fine sandpaper, and dielectric grease. I couldn't believe how dirty the fuse boxes were after 7 years, it's something you just don't think about.

I know this went in a non fuel related direction but, it's always good to check the fuel line at the tank. It's like an air line fitting but if it's not fully engaged and no pressure is detected the bike won't start.

It's a good way to save a friend from riding with too much to drink.
