Oil Pump: Replace or trust the ESP plan?

2019 Road Glide Ultra
114 built in April of 2019
Has 13500 miles

I have the ESP warranty until June 2028

My question:
Would you replace the oil pump now knowing you will have to pay for it ($2K)
or wait and ride out the warranty?

I am riding more and more
The bike runs strong and smooth
I have had only one issue with the bike
I recently had a water pump go out
I keep the bike serviced with Syn3 every 5k
(It'll be due soon)

As much as it’s been ridden, I’d worry about it in June of 2028.

Either way you'll have to pay for it, so ride out the warranty. If there is a problem before then, warranty will cover it.

If you replace it after the warranty, might as well upgrade the cam and associated parts, since it has to come out to get to the oil pump.

I definitely wouldn't burn $2k into something I had a warranty (actually extended service plan) covering. I'd ride it and monitor things normally. Have a plan in mind just in case of problems.
