just like it says all connections made, everything looks to be correct, turn switch on and get nothing, no power period, any suggestions

ok got power but still no start,, sounds like can here the fuel pump, noticed the yellow light does not come on in the speedo when switch is 1st put to run, bike turns over just dont start

When I changed my bars, I broke a wire on the throttle by wire setup, it would start up but onlu idle! So it may be that set of wires from the TBW. I was told you can't cut and either extend or shorten the wires, somehow they are set for the resistence, any change and it doesn't work.

You need to go back and check each wire on both sides. One or more wires are not plugged in correctly or or broken. I have changed several bars and had to reverse my steps to find the problem. Could be neutral switch on clutch side. Could be TBW wires. The main problem people have is with the green connector in the TBW bundle. Wires can be cut and spliced without worrying about resistance.:confused:

what a pain in the ass, no wonder Harley charges what they do, wonder if they even charge enough, anyway found what it was 3 beers later, when I draw my picture of the connector with wire colors I put w/b down twice, white/black and looking at the wires there was another w/b white/blue, they where reversed,
glad I took some pictures of they throttle side, that's how I found it, so all is good in the world tonight, but tomorrow brings another day

Besides the wire mix up. How was the install over all. Also, what bars did you use. Thanks, I am in the process of learning everything I can before I do it myself. Right now I am between the wild outlawz, LA chopper13" apes, or the buky males. In 14".

12 mad doggers, , if it wasn't for fly by wire it wouldn't be that bad of a job, just too much wire going in the bars on throttle side, anyway just need to zip tie some wires, rewrap one connector, adjust my switches, and put fairing on and that should be that

Did outlawz on my RGU. Bars feel great but it was a pain getting the wires to make the 90 deg angle at the bottom of the bars. Bars with a curve at the bottom are easier to wire.

I recently put 14" Outlawz on my bike. I used a string with a nut on the end to get string thru bars. Then, tied a knot in string at bar end, taped a couple of wires to the knot and pulled. Took about 10 minutes start to finish. The large bundle is a pia. Doing several wires at a time makes the 90 degree turn much easier. I always tape the wire ends to keep them from interfering with the turn. This is the 4th set of bars I have put on and gets easier all the time. For the bars with the curves I use a 4 ft zip tie and tape all wires to the end of the zip tie and pull/push slowly. :D
