Have you ever had it - P2300 code Check engine light? If so, how’d you fix it? Coil, ECM or something else?

Bad coil, Bad ECM, or two wires in the harness that could be broken, pushed out of the connector, or shorted to ground.

You'll need to work through the diagnostic ladder for that code to sort it out, and you will need to do a work around on the breakout box used in the directions.

Or take it to the dealer.

Any added on aftermarket electrical items should be checked, as they can sometimes cause the BCM to set false codes.

Fortunately for me, dealer has another bike in service with the same issue. HD has had them do a wire around the details I don’t know. So far it hasn’t coded but they are having a hard time getting any time on it. My bike is getting worse. It coded once in 2200 miles then about 20 times in 60 miles so it’s sitting until the dealer sorts out the other bike. I’ll give them a bit to see what they come up with. Bad wire would be good bet and a hopeful fix.
