Hey guys. I am seriously on the fence about this inner fairing color. Ive got a 2010 roadglide. Its the gloss black with the grey pinstripe. Im getting my inner fairing painted and im wondering how you all think a grey inner fairing, bezel, and fork tops would look. Matching the pinstrips. I kinda want something a little different and ive been trying to picture it. I havent seen this anywhere and wish i had something to go on. Do yall think it would be too much grey. I know its mine and i have to live with it, i just want a couple of opinions. Thanks!!!

One of the sales guys at the local dealer has a dark silver RG. He put a light silver inner fairing on his that really looks nice. The fairing is roughly the same color as the strip accents. THe contrast is nice.

I have a Mirage Orange bike, I have been thinking of a Vivid Black inner fairing to match my vented lowers (if I ever get them... hello Chicago HD )

Check with Mike's Hawg Paint, he just did a black pearl and some matching with the inner fairing - really sweet look(and different too)

I think all gray would be too much. I think it'd be cool to have some gray so why don't you do a two tone? Or, paint the inner fairing black and have a pin striper do some fancy work on the inside of the fairing w/ a matching gray pinstip?

I two tones mine with pinstripes so it matched the fairing, tank and bags. I felt like it would be to much pearl red doing it a single color. It’s something different that you may be able to go off of to come up with your own idea.

I like the black myself. But if you want to change the color and it not be a drastic change, why not look into a gunmetal black or charcoal gray.

The grey would be too much IMO. Maybe some complimentary striping to break it up. If you use more than one color for striping, you could color match at least on part of the scheme. Hopefully that makes sense.

I would take a picture of the inner fairing and photo shop the color grey so at least you can see what it looks like before painting it.
I like your idea, just not sure how it would look.
i had my inner fairing painted black on my Scarlet Red.
