PBR 300x2 vs JM 250 amp kit vs SoundStream pn2.350

I already have the JM Rokker XX speakers, not yet installed.

The JM amp runs just shy of $400.
The RF amp is under $150.

Is there any compelling reason to spend the extra $250 on the JM amp?

Or would the Soundstream Pn4 work as well, but that's for 4ohm speakers.
Or the SoundStream Soundstream PN2.350D for $115

The rockford and soundstream can both run 2 ohm speakers. I currently have the PN4.320 running 2 ohm Infinity 62.9i 6.5s.

On the pbr and PN your gonna get a higher power output running 2 ohm.

So it sounds like the soundstream will get me what I want/need at $115. I understand if I want to add lids or another pair in the faring, I'd have to change equipment. But that doesn't seem likely.

If your running a 4 channel soundstream (4.320/4.520) then you can still add another set without having to swap or add amps. You can run just the two front channels (like I am currently) and keep the rears open for expansion later on. Each channel is stable to 2 ohms so your safe.

Thanks a bunch. If the JM's are rated 200W+ max, would the pn2.320 (175w ea) deliver better for them than the 4.520 would (130w ea)?

Seeing that JM mates them with their amp that only pushes 125 rms either would work fine. I hace a hard time believing those things can handle that much power though.

I totally agree, I wouldn't rely on MAX wattage for nearly anything.

I ordered the pn2.350D only because it's a bit shorter and I really don't plan adding speakers in the (near) future. PLUS, I had almost enough credit on my amazon account to cover it! :D
