For what its worth, I wish the black denim FLTRX had no pinstrip. to me no pinstrip we look so much cooler.

I TOTALY agree with you I've never liked the 2010 or 11 pin stripes on the Black Denim FLTRX. I think that it either needs no pin stripes or it needs a rally stripe down the middle of the bike similar to what I've seen on some VRODs. I also like the paint sets on the 2005 models and think the black denim would look great with that stripe down the side in gloss black or black cherry.

I've never really been a fan of any of the Roadglide factory stripes, especially the 10/11 Vivid and Denim black models (which I will hopefully get soon). I think solid colors on these models would be great, especially on the black models!

I totally agree. I mean the FLHX has no stripes and i think it looks cool. But i am a FLTRX fan so i guess i will be stuck with it.

+1. I tend to like solid color bikes with no frills. I like the current stripe better than the old "Nike" stripe but no strips is better. Also, I prefer the silver stripe on the Gloss Black to the red stripe on the Denim black.

Maybe you can find someone to go over the red pinstripe with black denim paint. A good pinstriper with a steady hand may be able to pull it off.

I like the pinstripe. It breaks up the paint a little. However it does make it a pain to get a new fender and/or bags and have to find a pinstriper

BDMastiff is right,.. the only way to cover it, is find a pinstriper and tell him what you want. They can stripe over with a matching color or something really close to where you can't notice unless you look really hard. I kinda dig the blood red pinstripes, but...... I really think it would like kick ass with them gloss black on the denim black. Would be suttle, but at second glance would really make people go Oooooooo, ahhhhhhh!
