Changing out the speakers on my 09 FLTR and researching the polk MM651UM speakers. Already have an alpine amp that runs 4ohms. On the Polk web site, they say the grills do not come off. I know the MM651's work fine, but has anyone installed the MM651UM's on there road glide and seen any issues?

This probably don't help but I throw it out here anyway
I have the DXi 651 in 6.5" and do not use the grills.

I know you talking about a different set, just saying.

Hope you get a better answer for what your looking for.
