Howdy folks, now that winter is here, time to ask a question that has been bugging me for 14,000km. My 2012 FLTRU is less stable, drifts actually, when I have a strong wing from right side, Left side wind ok, or at least just the expected amount of movement. Have seen all the posts around front end and wobble, etc, have had that checked 2X. (and tire pressure and shocks all to spec) Not my imagination as ride a '94 Dyna too and when in same wind, get expected wind movement. No I am not loosing it, but would appreciate any comments/ideas :)
Could it be there is such a thing as a fairing alignment or something else I am missing? Thanks!

Are your saddlebags loaded evenly? There are some fairing alligments but the trick is finding which side the fairing is aimed. One thing you can look at is the crash bar mounts for the fairing. See if they are even on both sides. If not, loosen then and they will pretty much slide into their place. If they are not even that can cause more resistance on one side and make it prone to wind push. I hit a deer last year (left side crash bar) and after replacing the crash bar, noticed that mine tended to move to the right very easily making it prone to wind push. Alligning the fairing on the crash bars solved my problem. My fairing wasn't damaged by the deer. Just the crash bar.
