well it will not just "bolt and go" the o2 sensors are 18mm and
the factory one look to be around 12 so the head pipe has to come off
and new plug to be welded in for new o2 sensors
Just installed the Thundermax on my 2010 Roadglide, We gutted the cat out and you have to plug the stock 12mm O2 bungs and install new bungs 18mm 3" to 4" from head. Sounds much better and runs stronger. the auto tune seams to work great. Need to put some miles on it to get the AutoTune to adjust.
i have a 2011 road glide custom...i just installed my thundermax autotune and my d d exhaust. the problem i am having is that the bike pops a lot during decelarating on high gears 2nd and up....tried to follow step by step but i think i may have miss something.... also the download didnt have my pipe listed when they asked me to enter the model and brand. please help or pm me asap.....help !!!!!
I have the PC-V with the auto tune and I didn't have to change anything to install my O2 sensors, just unscrewed the old ones and installed the new ones. I have an '09 with the 96 ci in it.
for the 2010 and up u need the bung reducers i think that is what vic said when he sold my exhaust to me from klock werks i dont think they are to expensive
You might have a exhaust gasket leaking which would cause the popping. Trying putting about 150 miles on the auto tune and check to see if the Thundermax made any changes to the map.
Had my bungs welded in yesturday after I got the holes drilled etc, and rode all day with the pcv with auto tune today. The auto tune is changing my map all over and changed my map big time on the bottom and cruise range. I hope to see mpg in the 40s tomorrow. And to finish up with the auto tune making my bike a perfect map.
Well made it up to 44 mpg yesturday with the auto tune doing the tuning. With a fellow rider telling me on here to do some changes today to 14.1 vs the PC autotune stock set up of 13.7 af. Well see what happens know. I want mileage but still want power for passing so I give it a go on the way to work and back today.
