Installed Power Vision and Auto Tune on my 2013 HARLEY a few weeks ago. Started with Dynojet Download for my Rush 2 into 1 and SE Breather and started to Autotune. Great system and bike runs great.

Riding to work I had the gauge showing AFR and Lamba for both cylinders and suddenly the front goes blank. I checked for a loose connection and all looked well. When I got home later I swapped 02 sensors front to back and now back does not work. Swapped around cables and wires going into Auto tune box and still no response from the marked problem 02 sensor.

I contacted Power Vision support via email and Roy was nice enough to respond quickly. I have used DynoJet on my bikes for tuning since 1978 and always receive excellent customer service from them. I currently have their Jet Kit in my XR650R, a PCV on my ZX14 and the Powervision on my Harley.

Response from Dynojet---------Yes, try the gas test on both sensors, connected to both harnesses. Unfortunately there is no warranty on an o2 sensor. The most likely reason we see early o2 sensor failure is one that was dropped, or one that the wire harness was bent very close to the metal sensor. The next most common reasons are leaded fuel, or a two stroke engine. Outside of these reasons, o2 sensors usually last a long time.

This was not the response I thought I would get from Dynojet on a $1000 dollar system that was just installed for a week of use. Great system Poor customer Service in my opinion.

FYI

overvoltage has shorted the O2 heaters, which causes the sensors to fault. I believe there's a protective circuit which yanks them offline in such a case, as the sensors only fault when the engine's running and under load, but the O2 heater code comes up KOEO

Are you getting any codes?

PV doesn't control O2 voltage, the ECM does.

I suppose if someone altered the parameters for closed loop to the point that it's trying to hold a closed loop far outside of the reliable range, maybe that would damage the O2. Not sure... just speculating.

The wide band sensor is only $110. Not a big deal. Just frustrated that it quit working after a few days and being told no warranty. Don't know what could have taken it out. No drops, kinks in wires or chemicals. Just working and then stopped. Just curious if anyone else has had issues like this.

try the old fashioned method of cleaning the 02 sensor. sounds dumb, but sometimes they get so fouled they just stop reading.

I dont understand how youd concider it bad customer service because they think its a bad O2 sensor and not covered under warranty.. HD warranty? u say the bike runs great? u are not happy because the bike runs great but the O2 sensor on the PV says it isnt working?? i'm missing something..:)

He is also not talking about Fuel Moto (FM) he is talking about Dynojet Customer service the manufacture of Power Vision, Fuel Moto is a distributor.

And most of us that have dealt wwith jamie at FM agree they are top of the line for customer service
