Over the winter, I had the Harley Davidson premium suspension components from the dealer put onto my 11 RGU. The fronts are a cartridge fork and the rears have a hand-adjustable preload instead of having to carry around the silly little airpump.

I'm fairly happy with the new setup. It's certainly a huge improvement over the stock suspension. Brake dive is reduced, very balanced handling, less compression in the corners, and good low speed stability. Sharp bumps are handled a lot better. I live up in NH and we've got some roads that are absolute crap. On the stock setup, you really felt the bumps in these roads in not a very good way. With the new suspension, the bike handles these nasties much better - making for a more "bearable" ride.

Too bad they can't put on a better suspension to start with. Congrats!
Well maybe now they can, since the moco is extending their hd1 customization program to all models for 2013.

I wanna know if hd1 is gonna say me money or just a box of spare parts I could sell.
