I ordered a Target Tune add on for my PowerVision. Hopefully it will be in later this week.

I had it tuned on a dyno back in July, but I wasn't really happy with it.

I plan on running an auto-tune before I send the file off to get converted to the TT file.

I've read the install instructions. I did not read anywhere that I had to set the "targets". Does this add on have all the "targets" pre-set? I did read where the "targets" can be adjusted in the VE tables or something like that.

Please enlighten me.

Assuming you had your "tune" done on the dyno with the Power Vision, you can take that file(or any other) and send it in for conversion to be TT compatible. When you load that tune back into the bike your targets will be the same as they were before, but the TT will now continuously dial them in much more closely than VE tables did when it was tuned.

You can go into the AFR table and adjust your target AFRs if you wish.

Ask Dynojet or Fuelmoto for a tune written for your combo and try it too, I'll bet it'll be pretty close.

I just wanted to say that I am totally f'ing impressed with the Target Tune!

I sent Dynojet (Roy) my tune from the dyno that was done back in July. Less than 20 minutes later I got it back ready to load. Thanks Roy!

I got it installed Friday night and was impressed at how much smoother it idled when I cranked it up. No more "hunting".

I have run three auto tunes so far and I can tell it doing its thing.

I'd really like to put it back on the dyno to see just how much better it is.

I was just ordering the V&H monster squared mufflers, headpipe and air cleaner, along with the power vision tuner. I decided to bite the bullet and order the target tune as well. Not cheap but considering what it all cost I figured it was worth a shot. This really has been my worst performing Harley so I'm hoping this will improve it a bit. It's at the shop being worked on currently

Sorry to hear you're having issues. The Target Tune could help straighten any minor shortcomings with a canned tune. It sure helped mine, and I had a custom tune to start with.

I didn't mean to make it sound like the bike is terrible, just a lot of spark knock, scorching hot (they're all hot but this one is way way hotter) and it doesn't seem to perform as well as my previous 88 or 96. I still love the bike, it just wasn't an 'upgrade' going to the 103. I'm riding the next 2 days so I should be able to find out the difference. Hoping it's noticeable and puts it more on track with what I would expect.
