Procharger recently sent me some information on there Kits for the HD bikes. Verrry interesting to say the least. It's definitely got my attention. Has anyone here done there Procharger kit on a Rushmore? What's the Good, the bad, and the ugly? Has anyone done the install themselves? I see they sell a Full kit, and a tuner kit, and if I'm reading correctly, the tuner kit does not include Injectors or tuner. Being as I already own a Power Vision , I feel more incline to order the tuner kit, and just purchase the injectors separately.

If someone could school me, it would be greatly appreciated. Before I drop 6gs, I'd like to learn all I possibly can on these configurations.

My bike is currently, fairly stock, other than Bassani rr2 exhaust, intake, and PV Tuner. If I decide to go for the Procharger, it wouldn't be until winter anyways. I have been planning on putting a new cam in the bike soon.... don't know what cam yet, but let's say the Andrews 57 cam. If I did the cam, and then over the winter added a procharger, How would the Procharger/cam get aloung? My thinking process says it should be fine, but I was hoping someone might be able to give there input on that also.

The problem we had at the shop was the maintenance of the belt. They may have gotten that worked out now.

The best thing to do is wait till you get your procharger for your cams , because you will need a blower cam. Your tuning module will have to be able to read the boost. If you do a lot of down shifting the belt want last as long. I have a sprague pulley on the head unit which helps with that.

I would be very interested to know what cam grind they are using.

Blower cams are a bit different than your average performance cam. With a normally aspirated engine, you usually increase duration and decrease lobe separation angle for a better scavenging effect at higher rpm's. Blowers like an increase in duration, but you want to keep the overlap down so that you don't send all your boost out the exhaust. Super high lift also becomes less important. A blower will often work better with a stock cam than a high performance naturally aspirated design.
