Anthony from Bad ass bikes in Texas hooked me up for 750 shipped for hte speakers, Diamond 4 channel Amp, and mount/wiring kit. Hopefully, these sound good and loud. Looking forward to the install this weekend!

I'm running the micro 4V2, it's a great amp bridged. Not a good choice for 4 channel ops, but it's a beast bridged. Fits between the headlight tabs and radio bracket like it was made to go there. Don't even need Velcro or zip ties, it sits perfect. Reroute a couple of wires and it slides perfectly under the main radio connector with just a touch to spare. Tons of room under radio for RCAs and line leveler. Make sure you split the RCAs from the line leveler to the amp so you maintain stereo input signal in bridged mode.

Roger that.

Now, do I need to take the bike to HD to get the infotainment system upgraded or is this irrelevant now? I don't really use GPS on it or listen to the radio. Strictly Bluetooth streaming songs from my phone!

If you're sticking to 2 speakers, no need to have dealer flash for fade. You can do software updates yourself. Flash and software are independent of each other.

Only dealers and vendors with diagnostic equipment can flash the bike and HD recently cut the scope of what the dealers can do. Flashing the bike reprograms the firmware of the radio. Think of it like a tuner flashing the ECM for a cam change.

Software updates are released on a regular basis by HD and just update the software the system runs on. Think of it like apple releasing updates for the iphone. Go to the owners section of the HD website and you'll find updates for the radio and POI for the navi system. Follow the instructions very closely and download the files to a thumb drive, piece of cake. If you have problems figuring it out most dealers will do it for free and it only takes about 10-15 minutes to do.

Dont need flash; just a front Biketronics line leveler to flatten out the signal from the head unit.

flash and update two different things..unless you need for 4 speakers...then the dealer activates the rear channel (through a flash)..unless you don't care about fade...

anyway....1st sentence rules...

Hey Roadie, are you referring to using a RCA Y-Splitter between the BT355 and the Micro 4?

I don't know much about these bike audio systems but have just purchased the same Millie pro speakers and micro amp. I've also just bought the Aquatic Av amp and was told that's all I need. Definitely worried about not damaging the speakers during set up and not sure if line levelers are needed.

If you have a 6.5 radio you need the line levelers. What are you riding? and youre putting in 2 amps?

I've got an 09 and I'm going to install the Aquatic Av head unit, the cheaper one, and one micro 4v2 amp and two Hertz MPX 165.3 pro coaxial speaker. So just the one amp and only two speakers in the fairing.

That head unit has RCA outs already, so you dont need the line leveler. Bridge it and youre GTG

I've been trying to decorate about whether to bridge or not. I was afraid of giving it too much power
