Several of you have posted awesome shots of your new Monkey Bars by PY. Who has gone 8-9 hours a day with them and how was it? They are now #1 on my list, but the cost is causing me concern and I can't make a mistake if I pull the trigger. $125 less I can get the Wild One's OutlawZ 12" or the 515, but the PYOs are the best looking IMO.

I did a 3200 mile long haul with mine last summer, and had no issues. They worked really well for me. The longest day was about 535 - 550, no problem.
They are comfortable bars.
I understand your hestating though, they are pricey.

Last ride I got in, b/4 Thanksgiving in "The Great State of Ohio" was bout 378 miles or 422 miles in bout 8 hrs.
Havnt had the chance to go 3200 miles yet, priority, u-no but the 8 1/2 hr day I did put in was like a "Whole New X-perience in Riding!"
I should of done it a LONG TIME AGO.
Ya mite want 12" not 10's.
Yaffe runs 12's on his and after meeting him this wkd. at the Columbus, Ohio EZRider Invitational, shootn the breeze, talkn Nothn But BIKES!,... he said,....They call the new bike "Game Over" the "Giggle Bike" back at the Shop. Reason bing that when the Mechanic, or who-ever goes out on the bike they come back Giggling there so "HappY"

btw Rowdy, he also stated that when he shifts into 2sd gear w/o hammering the Throttle, he just rolls on the gas and the front end cums rite up!

Drop the Hammer on them bars dude,...u wont b "Sorry"

Hard to see your RG with the 12s. Can you include a couple of quality shots? At this point I know I can install the 10s without additional purchases and I want my hands below my shoulders.

Reddognc- I like you want to add these bars and the price is high for me as well. I asked imcworth and he gave me directharleyparts.com and found them for $325, which isn't too bad.

To each their own, but I personally love my PYO MB (mine are his 10s). I have run between 300-400 mile days with mine with no problems. I may agree with the fact that I sometimes wish mine were 12's, but then again, if I had the 12's maybe would not like them as much, who knows. My 10's seem to actually measure out to just shy of 12 anyway, so....
Good luck with your decission (and the install of them.....worst thing about them IMO).

I ordered a set this weekend too, hope they live up to the hype. the 300+ bones doesn't bother me as long as i don't have to buy another set. Also i got some of the stiffer bushings i read they are a must with any size apes.

I've been looking at these bars real hard but am curious if I'll be too short. I'm 5"7" and don't want to make a bad move ordering them. Anyone with these bars that are around my height?

Another guy in the Bagger Pics Thread claims to be 5'8" with a low seat and says he loves em. They are listed as having a 6" pullback and that is part that give me pause at this point. I am 5'11" with slightly shorter arms and I don't want to reach forward like I am currently doing with the stock bars. Is the 6" pull back with the bars straight up? Can a roll them back even with the fork for less reach? Comments? Thanks.
