Just installed the +2 Sweeps and immediately noticed th bushings probably needed changing. Little too much forward and aft movement for my taste.
Anyway, ordered new poly bushings from Arlen Ness.
My question is this ........ What all is envolved in changing them out? can it be done without removing the fairing? This is one 2011 Road Glide. Been searching the web a couple days and didn't really find anything? Appreciate all feedback......

While I am not 100% certain on your model year, I changed mine without removing the fairing. For changing them out you just disassemble the console, and take the bars out then unbolt the riser bolts. R&R accordingly. Nothing tough.

Dang Harley want you to take off fairing. I went out and checked to be sure, but with enough ratchet extensions you can do this on my 12 without taking fairing off. Just have to be careful there is not a whole lot of room up there. A tip that seems like makes a lot of since it to loosen the bolts before you take off handle bar and put the top riser bracket on to line things up as you torque the riser bolts.

The Harley directions I sent give you a good idea but if you have long enough extensions for your ratchet you can do it with out removing the fairing. At least on a 12 you can I would assume your is the same.

Just turn bars all the way and look under and see if you can access the bolt it should have a 3/4 inch head.
I am 90% sure I can get to mine, I though about taking things apart and starting but my new bars are still a month before delivery. And sure if I do start now we will get some good riding weather that I will miss.
