Wednesday morning the girlfriend and I loaded up the Glide and headed to Laughlin. After traversing the rough, pot holed, bridge approach drop offs of the California road system the GF was less than impressed with the bottoming out rear suspension (even with 50 psi in the shocks) and we are not heavy weights 200,135. After we checked into the hotel, off we went to see vendors. I talked to the progressive rep and was impressed except for the fact they make their shocks in China. Later in the day I found Terry Davis and his wife of www.TERRYCABLE.com, Terry gave me a class in shocks and had a demo set up of the stock, progressive 444, and his shock which is made in the USA. Needless to say I was impressed and had my bike in his booth at opening on Thursday. After the install we rode to Oatman and then onto Kingman on the old rough twisty RT66. WOW is all I can say. The bike has never handled this well or rode this smooth. I liked it so much I bought a second set of shocks for my 08 Ultra Classic. If you want to purchase a great made in the USA product that has a 90 day money back guarantee and fantastic personal service at a good price, go see Terry. I couldn't be happier!

I purchased the Ultra touring shocks from Terry. He custom fits the shocks to the bike with different spring rates according to rider weight and how you ride. Did I say they are made in the USA? 90 day money back guarantee and the price is right. I would recommend these shocks to anyone with a Harley.

I looked at their web site--for 750+ bucks you'd think they'd offer more than a 90 day warranty!!

While in Sturgis this year I met Terry Davis at Rapid City HD. I wash considering installing a LEGOND AIR RIDE on my bike. Terry offered to let me try his shocks first. In the end I bought a set of 12" with 125lbs springs. Installed on a 2012' Road Glide Skunk with a sidecar. AMAZING Improvement. Bought from him in Sturgis. http://www.terrycable.com/Ultra-Low-Rear-Shocks_c_7.html

He started me with 150lbs springs and told me to ride them for a day and see if the were too stiff. They were a bit stiff and he offered to change them out to 125 lbs. I couldn't be happier. I put 2000 miles on them around Sturgis and on the way home. They are worth every penny. I have a Legend Air Ride on my 92' Softail with Sidecar and they are great...but I do not need adjustability on this bike and they are a vast improvement over the stock springs.

Examples: They don't "whoop" and bounce over wavy roads like the stock. One "bounce" and they settle in. The rig also doesn't "wiggle" in turns or "sag" during really aggressive riding/cornering. Terry is great to deal with and really understands his product. Even with very little experience with sidecars he used logic and his experience to make some great decisions on what would work. I HIGHLY recommend these shocks.

Also the other "proof" was that many people I saw who had bought shocks from him previously had their friends lining up to purchase them after riding their bikes. He stands behind his product and knows his stuff!

They are a great value, look good, and perform as advertised!
