So I am going back to stock from a bolt on 26" neck kit. I have reinstalled the factory trees and want to make sure I get both the steering nut and top nut both tightened to prosper spec and torque. Any advice or has anyone else taken the neck apart and put them back together. Thanks in advance for the help

No clue here, I'm just curious why you're switching back.

The torque spec on the fork stem nut is 60 - 80 ft lbs, the lower tree pinch bolts are 30 - 35 ft lbs, the fork tube cap bolts are 50 - 60 ft lbs.
The fork stem nut needs to be adjusted using the swing test, the swing test is in the service manual for your year model.
You would need to completely assemble the front end to do the swing test correctly.
