That sucks … best to find a painter to fix it.

Almost looks like the plastic is peel off. That's some pretty thick paint .
I don' know much about the new models but the paint on my bike is not that thick.

I had a similar "boo boo" on the opposite side. It broke the attachment point where the bolt threads to the outer. I bought a new outer for $549.

I agree with everyone elses' input - pull it and see what else may be damaged. Or, a really big decal over it and pretend you don't see it. lol

Eh, just a little 'patina', you can hardly see it ......

I rode mine for 3 years with similar damage. Had a brand new painted to match outer in a box. I couldn't see it while riding. Installed new outer the day before I traded it off.
I like how you roll, mister.

Me being OCD, I I would have to have it fixed, most likely would take it to a paint shop, and have them fix it, hopefully paint shop wouldn't charge you all that much for that small of an and then you could add a couple of fancy Pinstripes while it's there, would think it would be cheaper than a new fairing. But I have to tell you something like that would bother me until I got it fixed, that's just me not being able to let things go,.....
