RGU Mods Red & Black Combo

I think this forum needs is a warning notice, like WARNING: VIEWING THIS SITE CAN BE HAZARDOUS TO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT! :D

After being laid up with a broken ankle and collarbone from totaling my 09 Blacked out SG on Memorial Day, I have done a lot of looking at all the cool bikes on the site and getting all kinds of good info as I'm laid up and have nothing better to do except think of things to put on the new bike, gee thanks guys! I purchased a 2013 RGU Ember Red Sunglo back in July and here's the mod list I came up with since joining this forum. I'm hoping this will be completed and I'm back riding in Sept. I'm new to the RG and have never even ridden one yet! I REALLY REALLY hope I like it! I loved my SG and have been secretly admiring the RG's from afar for some time now. Now that my SG is in Harley Heaven I feel I can go forth with my secret obsession for the sharknose!

I know I definitely want the tour pak detachable for the RGC look as that will be the "regular" look for it and the tour pak is for the trips.

Here is my list of mods and some "before" pics. Hopefully there will be some after pics soon! Thanks to everyone for all the good advice and the great pics on this site! Great site!

And so it begins...

Finally after waiting for all my parts to get in (mainly my painted inner fairing from HD), the build has started. Stopped by to see the progress and was astonished! If not for the tour pack still being attached, I wouldn't have recognized my bike!

The new CNC SE Heads

The pile of stuff for the bike!

You sure did your homework in planning out the parts list. You mentioned hardly recognizing you're bike stripped down. You could have trouble recognizing it after the mods are done lol. It's going to be a great looking ride. I'm sure you're going to love the RGU vs your old SG. Enjoy the journey :)

Thanks! Believe me I've had a lot of time on my hands the last four months to look through this forum and put together the list! Can't wait til it's complete!
