You can always fill tires with nitrogen initially, then top with air when needed.

Atmospheric air already contains just over 78% nitrogen, so I'm not sold on that last 22% making that much of a difference... + I don't see many applying a vacuum pump to tires in order to evacuate atmospheric air before filling with N2, hmmm...
Here they do purge with some high speed machine...all I know is that when I was air, I would have to top off every couple weeks..

If you live in the desert it probably doesn't make that much difference. If you live in a very humid environment it makes a huge difference. Not because of the nitrogen per se, but because the process of doing nitrogen is that you don't get moisture in the tires. It is the moisture that expands and contracts with the changing temperatures.

I've not paid for nitrogen, but have bought several vehicles and bikes that already had nitrogen in the tires. I would not get the variance in pressure that I used to see with just air. Where I live one week it could be 19 degrees and the next 70 degrees.

When I bought my 13 RGC new it would leak down 4-5 pounds a week. As soon as I changed to Ride On my air loss stopped. Checked twice a weak and no loss. Only removed weights, installed ride on, reinstalled stem added air and never lost air again.

Ride-On rules.
Listen to Shrug, he has a great road story to confirm Ride On not only works but works extremely well. It's in the front and back of bike. Wouldn't run without either. Now I do balance my tires before putting the Ride On in. My theory is that by doing this, it spreads the Ride On more evenly around the tire. Just my theory.

The last time I changed both tires I tried the Dyna beads. Had to pull both tires off and take the beads out, took them in to get balanced. They don't work worth a shit if you ask me!

What were your symptoms?

I used them once on a rear tire that I got changed on the road and no complaints.

Very unbalanced tires, lotsa vibration in the front end. Probably be fine in a rear that didn't need much weight.
Do you know if your shop balanced the wheels without a tire installed to mark the true heavy spot and then mounted the heavy spot on the tire accordingly?

Mounted the tires myself, dot by the valve stem.

Unless you have heavy metal valve stems, it is worth the time to check for the heavy spot on the wheel itself. I have found some wheels where the heavy spot was not at the valve stem. Especially if you always seem to be putting more weight than normal on the wheel to balance the tire.

I tried dynabeads... 2oz in front, 2oz in rear.... got bad vibes. I got a new rear tire and opted for weights on the rear... still had Vibes which told the front was the culprit. I added another ounce for a total of 3oz in the front and now she is fine.

Personally... when it's time for tires again... just going with weights...

My experience, worn out tires regular wheel weights, no vibration smooth ride. New tires and Dyna beads, bad vibration, tires out of balance. Dyna beads out, regular stick on weights, back to smooth ride any speed. Just my experience, I'm not going to look for problems when the bike rides absolutely perfect with out those beads.

If you find vibration after the beads 99% odds you have a bearing or neck issue. Read up on the "failure" cause of the vibration.

This is the first time I have heard about either of these products. At first glance it sounds like snake oil, but after reading all of these great reviews about Ride-On, I think I will have to give this a shot. Is there any harm in leaving the wheel weights on in conjunction with using the Ride-On?

+1. I almost never find that the heavy spot is at the valve stem.

Remember too, that nowadays more manufacturers are marking tires with red dots as well as yellow... in this case the red takes precedent and should be aligned with the heavy spot on the rim.

Your lack of mileage just means that HD was able to get one out that was sub par. Believe what you want, this issue has been beaten over and over and fact is if a vibration is present after installation then the physics tells you that something else is being telegraphed as the ride on or beads is trying to offset it. My new '13 was goofy until the neck bearings were replaced and tightened then all the problems went away.

No harm at leaving the wheel weights on if you choose.
