Always looking for an excuse to ride, so we found this destination for yesterday's ride. It is the Medora, IN covered bridge (longest in the US). Of course we went the long way there and back and we tried to find as many twisty roads as we could.:D

Cool

I have never been there but I may have to make that a destination soon! Some time if you get down around the river (Ohio) send me a note and we can try to hook up for some riding. I live on State Route 262 which runs from Dillsboro to Rising Sun. It is about 10 miles of good twisty. Check it out on your map program. Then maybe we can head over to Rabbit Hash with some other members!

I've been on 262 and thought it was a great road. We've stayed in Rising Sun a couple of times over night too.

I've been wanting to hook up with some of you guys and head over to Rabbit Hash (neat little place). It seems like there are several members here that make it a destination. Rather than just meet there, it would be great if we ride there together as a group. There's also a good place to eat lunch just west of Warsaw on the river. Maybe we all could meet someplace (like Madison) and then head over to Rabbit Hash from there.

Yes I know 135 very well, we do it several time each year. The place in Kurtz is Cafe 58. It's a little bit west of 135 on route 58. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but is nice in the inside and has good home cooked food. There is another place further west in Norman on 58 called the Hitchin' Post. They had the best home made desserts. They were closed for remodeling a few months when I stopped there about a month ago, so I don't know if they plan to open up again. The owner at Cafe 58 thought the Hitchin Post wasn't going to reopen.
