I was informed of this forum by a fellow member who saw my post on HDFORUMS and suggested I post here also.....

I have been reading threads and trying to get as much information on the Road Glide and what was possible and available as far as modifications were concerned. These past few weeks, I have been awaiting the completion of my dream FLTRX! I bought the black denim 2010 and had a few modifications done to get this baby looking bad to the bone! I decided to start by blacking out everything I could. Then I ordered a roland sands 21 inch judge wheel with a matching rotor and air filter of coarse (one caliper set up). I also added the roland sands matching grips. I upgraded the speakers, installed a hidden antenna and a blacked out tail light(canadian model). The bike is also fitted with a power commander, vance & hines dresser duals with hi output slip ons and a clockwerks windshield. Oh...and I also installed a front lowering kit to narrow down the gap between the wheel and fairing to give it a that low - sporty look.

This forum has really helped me in the decision making process and I really appreciated all of the pictures everyone had posted of their own projects. So of coarse I too have included some pictures of my own, and will post more as the progress continues. It should be complete by next week.

Nice

Was checkn ya out on another forum. This is the place to be dough! Your Bike looks good. I love the Denim. One caliper set up is the way to go. (if ya aint got abs) 360 brakes I like even better.Did you order a pair(wheels) or just the front? The duals look great! Nice touch with the black to match.

Hey, thanks for checking out my ride. I only ordered the front wheel and rotor. Didnt see the point in spending the extra bucks since my duals hide the rear. I am still debating as to if I should install a low profile front fender or not install one at all! I will definatley post the final pictures as soon as it is complete!

Thanks.

23 inch front wheel on road glide-looking for a picture

I saw a black road glide on a forum that had a 23 inch front chrome wheel with no fender installed. I have been trying to locate that picture. Have you seen it around? I would love to see it again!

If you're doing only one rotor on the front, are you changing out one of the lower legs or machining the caliper mount off? Do you have an ABS bike? If so, make sure they use the 2010 wheel bearings or it'll trip your ABS (the bearing is the trigger for the speed sensor).

I decided not to machine the caliper mount off in the event that I would want to install the second caliper in the future. I will simply cap the holes with a nice hd insert. My bike is not ABS. Thanks for the input, well appreciated!
