Well, that was a short lived pursuit. Talked to the lady, she gave me the address and we agreed upon a time for me to show up. I arrive, no one home. Call, no answer. I did see 2 covered bikes on a side patio, one resembling the outline of a RK. Run a few errands while in town and call several times, still no answer. Later that evening, get a call from the owner. He doesn't know if it's carbed or FI but the 05' RK he had was FI. I had asked if he knew if the cam bearings had been replaced and he gets weird wondering how I would know if that bike needed any work. I try to explain it was a HD warranty issue and he states he got zero paperwork from his cousin from Houston, the original owner. Okay, still somewhat interested and will call early in the week. Get online later that night and see that he has posted and claims his wife had an error in the ad and it was 1000.00 more than she had posted. Might be a decent deal still but I believe I'll pass.
