If you don't mind me asking, what have you done that these won't work
I have the same shocks and love them but realized I may have to change them out when I put on my trailer hitch

For sure,
So I bought the bike used and it has the Chain conversion as well a large tank in the rear wheel well that is part of the external breather system.
The chain adjusters are just touching the shock eyelet's when shocks are mounted and if I try to shim the shocks out, there is fear that the canisters will hit the bags.
Then the breather canister needs to be rotated or relocated.

Yes - they will fit.
Unless you are going fancy (remote canister) - Bagger shocks 13" fit 1990-2022
