I want to prevent the wife and kids... and myself from scuffing the surface of the saddlebags but don't like the clear covers or the complete leather covers. I like my Candy Orange paint and my Tan Corbin seat will be in on Tuesday. So I was thinking of a cover that starts wide in the front and near the front of the latch taper to a 1" "strap" to the very back thus the thong look. And make it Tan like the seat.

Has anyone seen something similar?

Thoughts?

Never seen anything quite like you describe. Check Shore Fire Designs.

They can make just about anything for covers.

They may be able to come up with something you like.

Make sure you post a picture of that new seat when it comes in. I'm thinking a tan or brown seat would really look good on that Candy Orange.

I'm with you on that. I think the tan will compliment the gold pinstripe and also the NON-black will prevent fried huevo's.....

When I put it on I will post a picture.

zemo those look awesome. Just a couple quick questions...

How do they attach?

What is the material on the underside of the cover?

Have you experienced any scratching on the actual lid?

Thanks,
Jett

Sorry for the long delay Jett.
They attach with supplied hook/loop fasteners.
The inside is of the cover is a soft fabric similar to a short nap fleece.
I bought cheap lids and swapped them out for the originals.
No scratches as of yet.
