I kind of like this product:

At the numbers of times I wash my bike, I'm always popping them off and on and this seems like a practical way to store and wash them safely.
Bit pricey at 99$ so I know you all have a plan "B", so what are your plan "B". Mine is to simply to drop them on a clean tarp set on the grass at an angle to let the water drain when I Blast 'em with the hose.

Wow.. you guys take your saddlebags off to wash your bike? I've never done that. It would be a nice thing to have the few times (seems like a lot here lately) I have taken my saddlebags off. Seen cheaper versions on ebay.

Not a bad product but????

Not a bad looking product, but for $99  I will just keep doin what I have been--set em down on a couple of shop towels, wash em, blow em off, wipe them down, and reinstall.

Your joking right?
1/2"(US) emt conduit will fit just fine in the groove at the bottom. No need for pipe insulation down there. You probably want to protect the bag up on top though with some insulation. That half inch conduit and bender can be found at almost any Home Depot or Lowes.
I made one up, but it isn't as fancy as this one. I may have to try to bend one up like this one though, mine is kind of heavy and gets in the way. I see you can fold this one up to store it. Some good ideas.

I will try to post a picture tomorrow of the one I fabbed up.

Nope, not joking. I have never taken my saddlebags off when I wash the bike. Never heard of it either. Can I ask why you do it? To me I never saw the need, since you can't see behind them anyways.

I take mine off because it makes it easier to get to the rear wheel and tire, plus I like to get the road grime off of the back side of the bags.

Way back when, one of my club bros had acquired a new 2001 FLTRSEI in charcoal and black. One day I noticed how REALLY dirty his bike was, so I said, "Hey man. Your bike is filthy! When you gonna clean it?" He replied, "If I got time to wash it, I got time to ride it." I've never dogged anyone about their dirty motorcycle since...
