I installed a Scorpio SRi1800 on my 2012 Street Glide. The kit I purchased included a perimeter sensor and ignition kill module. All is connected with exception of the ignition kill module.
I'm a bit new to the motorcycle electronics world and have NO idea where along the ignition wire to splice in the module...much less where to locate said wire.
I don't own a maintenance manual for my bike and the owner's manual is about as good as toilet paper in this matter. I've also looked online for wiring diagrams, but haven't found anything.
I'm a bit of a cheap bastard and subsequently a do-it-yourself kind of guy. Any chance anyone here could help me (pictures would be great) in this matter?

sadly, still stock everything

If you havent already figured it out I'm guessing it's looking for the switched power from the ignition. I had something hooked to it on my Road King but the switch was on the tank so it was easy to get to. I havent taken apart my RG yet so I dont know how to get under the switch yet. There should be a hot wire (power all the time) coming in and one that gets power only when the switch is on. That would be the one that puts power to the rest of the bike.

You do know your on a Road Glide site? I know the Street Glide and Road Glide are a lot a like but most of us get the factory security system.

Spend the $60 and buy the factory repair manual. You'll need it every time you do maintanance to your bike.
