I have a 2011 Road Glide Ultra CVO. Problem is I have the locking security alarm system on my bags and ignition. When I lock the security system the saddlebags and trunk lock but my fork locking device does not lock I have to use the key to lock and unlock. The push button fob does not activate the fork lock. Anyone have this problem? and maybe a cause and a fix?

Thanks in advance.

You may want to go to the new members section and introduce yourself. Also posting in the right section may get you more responses.

As far as I know the ignition lock has always been manual because it needs the key to turn the tumblers in the lock.

according to the owner's manual, you have to turn your handlebars full left, rotate the ignition knob to the fork lock position, then pressing the lock button will ock your forks. is yours not working that way?

sounds like pretty much doing 9/10s of the manual locking procedure anyway. at least on the forks.

Check for a broken wire at the ignition switch...... this has been reported by others with CVOs.

This might help...... see the wire? That's probably the culprit.
