I have a 15 RGS with BoomII in the nose and picked up from friend a set of Yaffe lids with 6x9 Rockford Fosgate Power T1693 speakers in them. I am looking at the Rockford Fosgate PBR300X2 Punch 300-Watt 2-Channel ($170) to power the rears. any other 2 channel amps I should look in to that is around the same price before i pull the trigger??

The only experience I have is with the Cerwin Vega B52. So far a great little amp, got it powering a set of Kappas up front.

What ohm are the pioneer speakers? The 300x2 is absolutely the most entry level of entry level amps and only performs well with 2 ohm speakers. You may want to consider the b52 as mentioned or a soundstream amp. The pioneer TS 6900 pros are an excellent entry level 6x9.

Lastly, mixing anything with boom is a crapshoot at best. I’d be pulling it all out and going with a good 4 channel amp and new front speakers.
